3D camera tracking stuck

PC - Intel i9 processor, 2GHz, 64MB of RAM.
After Effects v25.0.  No plug ins.  I also stop running any other apps or processes to give AE the machine's focus.

Tracking initializes and then freezes, usually within the first 30 frames or so.  Not consistently the same frame when I retry.

@Rick Gerard The Camera Track worked on the prior version but stalls on v5.0.  So it doesn't seem like the shot would be the cause.

@nishu_kush I sent you the files.  Thank you for addressing this.

Could you share one of the files that repeats the problem? Feel free to DM me if you do not want to share it here.

Thanks,

The success and accuracy of a Camera Track depend entirely on the shot. Camera Tracker, and even Mocha Pro, Mocha AE, and Syntheyes, can hang or fail if the shot is unsuitable for tracking. Sometimes, duplicating the footage and adding some extreme color correction to bring up detail and contrast will help. If you do that, pre-compose before you run the tracker, then only use the tracked data.

I often break up shots with tracking problems and add multiple cameras to the main comp. If the tracking is good and overlaps a few frames, you "Normalize" the track (there's a free script to do that) and get things to work out easily.

If you could share even a low-rez copy of one of your problem shots, we could better assist you in figuring out a more efficient workflow. You could also DM me.

Yes, my apologies 64GB.  Not all files but many.  And if happens with a file, it is a repeatable problem.

Thanks for writing in.

I am guessing you wanted to say 64 GB, not 64 MB. Is that correct? Could you let us know which GPU you're using? Also, does it happen with specific footage or with all the media files?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Nishu
