After Effects Beta expression type field difficult to type in

Anyone else having issues entering type into the expression editor within Beta After Effects (most up to date version)? It's painfully diffuclt, the keys on my keyboard (M1 Macbook 2022) just are not registering. It takes three or four times to get a character to actually type.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Is this only something you're seeing in the Beta builds, or also in the release version? Would you be able to share a screen recording of what you're experiencing?
