After Effects v23.0 & Media Encoder v23.0 export issue

I was having a similar but different issue. AE wouldn't send to Media Encoder.

I updated Mac operating system and restarted. Sharing in case that helps

@Valerie5FAF Thank you for the system information and for the screenshots showing the settings. Everything you've shown looks correct as far as I'm aware, so I've asked our Formats team to follow up here with additional steps to see what might be going wrong.

I can finally see the composition in the exporting window but the video ends up black.

Hello @JohnColombo17100380, thanks for reaching out to me. This issue is occuring in all my AE projects, in a complex compositions and for testing I tried a simple one with only a shape moving on the screen – I will share that one.

I have an macOs Big Sur, v11.7
CPU Intel Core i7
RAM 16 GB
GPU NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB

         Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

I have this compostition with a shape and simple animated movement. I have screenshots from After Effects and a screen recording from Media Encoder (sorry, it's not in English – I have the "match source high bitrate", H.264, unmatched the audio and didn't change any other settings for the resolution (matching the source 1920x1080) – but I can't )

Thank you for reporting this issue, sorry to hear you're experiencing this problem with export. Is this occurring in all projects or only in a single project? Would you be able to share the project or a screen recording of the issue as it occurs?

Additionally, your system's specs (OS version, CPU, RAM, GPU) would also be helpful as we try to diagnose what might be going wrong.

"the screen is prior to exporting black in both of the apps" I ment the Media Encoder export window, in After Effects the composition goes to black while it's rendering
