After Effects Won't Open: std::exception

After Effects will no longer open, versions 25.2 and 25.2.2. I get the attached error messages. I updated my mac. I completely uninstalled AE and preferences and reinstalled it. I restarted my computer. I updated from 25.2 to 25.2.2. and back down to 25.2 again. AE has read/write permissions on all my folders. It worked just the other day, and today it's bricked.

We've found that there were some font updates pushed out via Creative Cloud over the past few days that seem to be causing After Effects and Premiere Pro to fail to start. Our best advice right now is to remove any sync'd fonts and see if that helps get AE going again.
