Hi Cat_mask!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the composition panel. This issue can be quite frustrating. Sometimes, resetting the workspace can resolve display issues. You can do this by going to Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout. Another thing to try is clearing out any corrupted cache files. It might also help, so go to Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache.

Additionally, try disabling “Hardware Accelerated Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels” in the preferences. This has helped some users resolve similar issues.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, could you provide more details about your setup? For example, does this happen with all projects or just specific ones? Are there any error messages?

Looking forward to helping you resolve this!

Thanks,
Nishu

Thank you for the reply, I will work on implementing what you said. The problem is with all the files, even if I create a new project. Note that the Nvidia application does not open for me and I am unable to log in. When I open it, a black screen appears. Is it possible that this is the reason?

I don't think that the Nvidia application can cause such an issue. However, it indicates something might be wrong with its driver. Check if updating the GPU driver helps. You can update it from Nvidia's website.

Thanks,
Nishu
