Can't Drag and Drop Files into Timeline in Aftereffects

For some reason when I try and drag and drop any media from the left menu on to my timeline it doesn't do anything, as if the file isn't even there. It had no issues yesterday. How can I fix this bug?

Any chance you are starting After Effects as an administrator? There can be drag and drop issues if you're running as a non-admin but starting it as an admin and vice versa.
