Comp Preview Not Working/Showing

So for context, I've posted a similar discussion before this and my issue currently is that AE Comp preview doesnt work as it is intended to. It only works when im Putting the program in another window ( on a extended display screen ). This wasnt an issue previously as all my drivers are now fully updated, I've purged all the disk caches, have done the " Deactivate Hardware Acceleration" mode and purged my media and disk caches. I'm not sure if this is a AE issue or my laptop's. Again I've done everything, I even checked and reinstalled my Intel Gpu Driver, Windows Update and Nvidia Driver recently to see if it would resolve it but it didn't work at all.

Issues:-

AE doesnt work on main display as seen here ( My laptop display )

But works fine when I place on another display ( another monitor/screen )

This issue is also seen through Premier Pro as well. I also looked through other discussion forms and have seen a few people having the same issues/problems as the one I'm currently facing. I don't know what to do as this is quite frustrating to deal with 😭😭

( I'm using most of the topics for this post as I am desperate for a solution )

@jenkmeister17177426 Hi sorry for the late reply but yeah I tried it and it works! The only downside is that now my main display is on 64hrtz instead of 144hrtz.  I do hope this isnt a permanent solution but this will do for the time being. Thank you again!

25.0 has some new GPU accelerated UI and that error is likely related to something happening with that new code. I'm guessing it is related to the Intel/NVIDIA GPU situation you've been dealing with. One engineer here suggested "The workaround is to update the Intel Driver to use Microsoft Basic Display Adapter which should allow the NVIDIA GPU to be selected correctly". I don't know if that makes sense for you to try though?

@jenkmeister17177426  Hi sorry to tag you again after the previous reply but right now theres another issue that popped up, I thought it was fine and then this happened? For context after changing the graphic settings through windows mentioned before, I tried dragging into the second screen and for some reason this error pops up?

@jenkmeister17177426 Regarding updating, I couldn't update using Geforce like two weeks back as Nvidia changed their dedicated program to Nvidia App. So I just followed their website and updated the latest drive through their new program which is Nvidia App but yeah I just downloaded the latest drive through that. Still not sure why it just doesn't want to use it

AE does run on NVIDIA hardware though I'm not sure of the specs on the laptop NVIDIA GPU to know how it supports the system requirements. I believe you said you updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers? Perhaps from https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/ ?

@jenkmeister17177426 I have found something that might help find the issue, while waiting I was trying to see if it was my drivers fault. So I disabled my Intel UHD driver on the Device Manager and opened After Effects. It works and when I tried to enabled it again it also works, but when I turn After Effects off and reopen it again it seems to go back to square one ( I hope this isnt the only solution because I dont want to do this everytime I open AE 😭).

Edit :
Upon further inspection, I found out that after effects just rejects using my Nvidia GPU. I went to graphic settings on windows and changed the options from "Let windows decide" to use "Intel UHD" and it works. Isn't AE supposed to run on Nvidia GPU instead?

Thanks. Please check the 3D renderer setting for me.

Are you able to zip up and share the project with us to look at it further?

@jenkmeister17177426 This is a somewhat new project, I made this a week ago on the 10th, this issue came the next day out of nowhere

Is this a new project or an old one you're trying to load? I ask as the memory failures I'm seeing in the logs are related to a Raytracing engine that was turned off in AE quite a number of years ago.

If it is an old project, go into the Composition Settings and make sure the 3D Renderer is set to Classic 3D.
