Make the 'I' shortcut go to the earliest inPoint of multiple selected layers

Currently the behaviour when using the 'I' keyboard shortcut, when multiple layers are selected, is to move the CTI to the inPoint of the top-most selected layer in the layer stack. This would be far more useful if it moved the CTI to the inPoint of the group, ie. the earliest inPoint of the multiple selected layers.

Yes, that works great, thanks @JohnColombo17100380. Just what I was hoping for!

Hi @RobBarrett,

A fix for this issue is now available in After Effects (Beta) build 24.3.0.037 and later. The I & O hotkeys should move the CTI to the earliest in or latest out point of all selected layers, rather than only the top-most one. If you have a chance, please download the Beta and let us know if the fixed behavior is working for you.

Thanks again for reporting this issue,

- John, After Effects Engineering Team

Thank you for reporting this, Rob. This appears to be a bug and we've now got a ticket open to investigate what's going wrong here.

Thanks again,

Plus the same behaviour with the O shortcut – go to the latest outPoint of the group, not of the top-most layer.
