Mystery Plugin Errors on opening AE ~ Quicktime Host & others

Hello. Today I received one of the oddest error messages I have ever seen. I received a message that 3 plugins failed to load. 1) Eporter AVI 2) Exporter Quicktime Host 3) Player Media Core

Are these preinstalled plugins? I have never heard of these. I've recently had issues with infected work files and am curious if this has anything to do with infected files.

So. If these plugins are legit. The question is. Why am I getting this error all of a sudden?

So as soon as I posted. I hit, OK on the error message. Then... This error. After Effects Can't continue: folder, required is missing appeared. Then another error which I have never seen before.

Now... When I went to the creative cloud and clicked on the AE icon, I recieved a similar message.

After I received the error in the Creative Cloud. I updated the app. Upon opening AE, I received this standard crash notification.

When oepning I received two additional messages. I'm unsure if the messge saying "uncaught javascript" has anything to do with the problem. Security preference seems very strange considering it was already checked on. I have never seen this message upon a update/install.

Based on the whole thread, it seems like you now just need to allow permission to write files and access the network (the second to last image posted) which can be done in Preferences => Scripting & Expressions. It's the first checkbox on that prefs page. 

Once that's done, restart AE and I believe things will be ok for you.

How do you consider this when allowing access option was checked on in the first place? I have a list of basic plugins I have used for years with no issues. The intial error reads, Quicktime Host. What is that? I think the error has something to do with the intial plugins that failed.

The effects mentioned in the initial image are ones that ship with After Effects to support various imports and exports. Why they failed to load is unclear, but given the next message was the "Required" folder is missing, that indicates something happen to the install of the application on your machine. Did you upgrade the OS? Install other applications? Modify user permissions? etc.

No I did not. But!.... I believe I opened a Illustrator file that I believe was infected. Yesterday, when I would select shape layers in After Effects after opening the illustrator file, the tool bar used to select fill and stroke that appears at the top of the  composition was gone. It returned after reseting the computer and Not opening the illustrator files first.

I have noticed that.... When Opening a suspect Illustrator file my AE acts strange until I reset my computer. With the exception of today. I received all of these strange errors.
