Preview not playing/grey screen

I'm using AE 2024 on Windows, and this bug has affected two of my files. I've tried changing the video rendering and effects, clearing the cache, and using hardware acceleration. I have also redownloaded everything and tested whether it was my plugins, yet it still happens. I am unable to go to another file because it crashes. I also am not able to close it regularly since it gives me a white screen.

Is it happening specifically with 2 projects? Does it work fine with others or a new project? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? If you've Intel integrated GPU with a dedicated GPU, try the following steps.

• Close After Effects
• Go to the Device Manager (Run >> devmgmt.msc)
• Select Display Adapter, Right click on the "Intel UHD graphic card".
• Select "Update Driver"
• Select "Browse my Computer"
• Select "Let me Pick from a list of available drivers on my Computer".
• Select "Microsoft Display Adapter".
• Launch After Effects.
