A fix for this is now in the AE 24.4x7 beta that is downloadable on CCD. If you're able to download and test that version, that'd be really helpful to confirm the fix.

Thank you for the codec. I found what's wrong now. Checking back with the engineer who wrote the original code to see what we want to do to fix this.

Sent you a direct message with a link to the codec.

Are you able to get me a copy or a trial of the XPression Video Codec so I can check this with your plugin?

Thanks. I'll get a bug written up and we'll see if we can reproduce this with one of the external plugins that enable the Codec Settings button.

I do not, the error only occurs when a configuration window is opened and closed within the AVI options dialog.

Thanks. If you don't click the Codec Settings button, but just click OK in the AVI options dialog, do you still get the Unknown Error?

I can't repro the issue locally but I don't have any third-party codecs installed. If you can link to a video of it, or at least try removing the third-party codecs and see if that's the trigger, that might help.

Running version 24.1.0 build 78 currently. Yes the codecs I tested with are third party, the first codec I tested with is one that we make called "XPression Video Codec" and I tested Matrox DVCPro and Matrox MPEG-2 I-Frame.

I have a video showing the issue but, it seems I cannot upload videos.
