32-bit linear exr to 16-bit sRGB tiff - help
Hi everyone. I'm in the process of switching to After Effects after a decade in Nuke. I'm just getting started and I'm trying to figure out file conversion and color management.
Specifically, I have a single frame 32-bit linear exr and I want to export it from After Effects as a 16-bit sRGB tiff.
I tried dragging in the exr. The highlights are blown out, which I expected. But when I expose down, there's no visible range where there should be. The exr is behaving like a jpg. Do I need to change import settings in Ae somewhere before importing the exr? How do I set export color space when exporting a 16 bit tiff? I'm lost.
Any help would be appreciated.
