Question

3d Gizmo arrows disappear once I add a camera

Hi! I don't know whether it's a bug or not but when I add a camera in a comp the gizmos arrows disappear from all the 3D layers (they looks like 2D). The 3D layers still continue to be 3D but I can move them only from the transform control inside each layer.

I hope that someone can help me with this annoying issue.

thanks

Your cropped screenshots do not show us the toolbar or which rendering option you are using. When a layer is selected and the selection tool (v) is active, you should see the 3D widget. Almost every other tool in the toolbar will cause the widget to disappear.

It looks like you need to spend a little more time with the User Guide or spend a few minutes going through the Learn Workspace's guided tour.

Can you post a screenshot of before and after, and your camera settings? My guess is your camera settings are wonky.

These are the screenshots with the camera switched on and off: the gizmo arrows disappear.

I noticed another issue that could be related to the first one: the graph editor doesn't show the animation curves at all.

I started having problems with the adobe suite when I upgraded to Catalina so it might be a compatibility issue with the OS?

set your camera focal length to something higher, like 50mm
