3D text with double bevel

Hi everyone,

I am new to after effects so forgive me. I am trying to create a 3D text exactly as seen in the x factor UK this year. I have got close, raytraced 3D with a bevel, however what i want to produce is a little different. On the attached example there seems to be a double bevel. Any pointers would be great!

Thanks

I'd suggest you look at doing this using C4D / Cineware and Cinema 4D as the 3D renderer in AE.

It has much better options for creating complex bevels.

Not possible with the Raytrace 3D stuff. that would require a 3D program or a plug-in like elemnt 3D, which allows multiple bevels.
