Hello,
Not sure what updated in the last two to three days but Adobe AE all of a sudden stopped working on my Macbook Pro.
Here are my MacBook specs:
Processor: 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
MAC OS: 13.6.3 (22G436)
Built in Graphics:
Chipset Model: Intel HD Graphics 630
Chipset Model: Radeon Pro 555
I have tried the following but none has worked:
- I have tried removing AE and reinstalling it.
- I have tried different versions (AE 23.0, AE 23.6.2, AE 24.0.1, AE 24.1)
- I have tried starting it in safe mode.
- I have tried resetting preferences.
- I have also tried deleting "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore" folder.
- Restarted machine and ensured there are no updates.
I am out of idea on how to resolve this issue. Please advise!!
Adobe Photoshop launches but gives an incompatibility check:
Warning: Driver update recommended
Fail: OpenGL unavailable
Fail: OpenCL unavailable
Pass: Metal available
Pass: Above required VRAM (1610 MB of 1500 MB required) GPU Detected: Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 (INTEL)
There are no driver updates so not sure what to do.
