Adobe Bridge .ffx Files Not Working

Hi

I have recently updated After Effects and Bridge.

Now I am getting FFX errors when I use Bridge to apply animation Presets

I know that I can use Apply Present to search the present by text and apply it like that, but that does not show a preview of the preset and is a much less smooth interface.

It's key to me that I have my Presets available via Adobe Bridge.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Bridge and After Effects.

Can anyone help me get my Bridge Animation Presets working with After Effects again?

It seems like it is bugged. This happend before on earlier versions. Looks like it might be patched in a new update, but for now you might have to apply the preset manually. With the layer selected go to the Animation menu > Apply Animation Preset... you'll have to find where your presets are saved and choose the one you want to apply.

Hope this helps for the time being!

Yes, it is a bug that seems to be coming back every other release. It's not liek this hasn't happened in the past. For the tiem being you indeed have to settle on the Effects & Presets palette to apply this stuff.
