adobe cc apps failing to open

It has been a while since I have used my creative cloud apps. Today, I tried to open after effects and I keep getting after effects quit unexpectedly messages when trying to open. I also tried to open premier pro and got the same results. 

A couple things I'll point out. When I was regularly using adobe cc, I was using a different OS. Can't remember which one, but it wasn't big sur. And all my apps are updated.

 

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Not much point in maintaining the creative cloud membership if it doesn't work.

Hi Jonathan,

 

Sorry for your issue.

Were you using any third-party plug-ins? If so, I'd suggest removing/uninstalling them. Some plug-ins are stored at the following location: HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plugins/7.0/MediaCore

Go to the location and remove all the files and folders (except dummy.txt).
