Advanced Layers from Animate won't be applied to After Effects

So basically it's been 3 days since I ever started animating, and today I tried to import and swf file from Animate to AE. And it did not work-- found out that this happens because of AE's recent update (It's my first time in AE as well)-- only the first frame was displayed then nothing else.

So I tried directly putting a fla file and the advanced layers (Color effects, blending) won't be applied.

What should I do?

I'm pretty sure this is all explained in the online help, which you should read. Some stuff just won't carry over because AE has no way of dynamically rendering it. You need to get used to that fact of life and adjust your workflow accordingly, i.e. not using these features and instead creating them natively inside AE using effects, layer styles etc.. Stuff simply works different across programs.
