AE 2024 Mocha pro 10.0.4 "copy to the clipboard" issue

Hello and sorry for the bad english. Here my specs:

As the title say, can't paste data copied to the clipboard in AE. Is it only me or is another "clipboard" thing of this latest release of AE?

It happened years ago, just to know if is only me.

Hello and sorry for the delay, i was out of the office for a shooting. I've wrote in the Mocha Pro forum, and this is an issue that everyone is having. They don't know if it's an After Effects problem or Mocha Pro problem.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
We can confirm this is specifically a problem within After Effects 2024 and the clipboard handling.
For the time being, if you're using the plugin version of Mocha Pro, you should generate the data from the plugin interface instead of pasting via the clipboard. For the standalone, there isn't currently a workaround aside from importing the project into the plugin and working from there.

 

We will contact the Adobe dev team and find out what is happening.

    Thank you so much for the reply Martin. I'll use data generated from the plugin and share projects instead of text data. Hope It will be resolved soon.

    Hi Roberto Tafuro,

     

    Thanks for writing in.

    Could you tell us more about your workflow? How do you bring in the data from Mocha to After Effects? Feel free to share screenshots or screen recordings. The recommended workflow is to Generate tracking data from the Effects panel in After Effects.

    Let us know if that works.

    Thank you for the reply Nishu. Yep, i can generate track data from the plugin. But i have always used data copyed to the clipboard from the Mocha plugin and then apply them to a Null.

    I don't remember when, but it happened a lot of time ago. Data copied to the clipboard won't paste to AE layers.

    My workflow:

    - Open Mocha Pro and do my track;

    - Click on Export Tracking Data and select Transform Data or Corner Pin+ Motion blur

    - Save and go back to AE

    - Create a solid (if i have to paste Corner Pin data) or a Null (if i have to paste transform data)

    - Paste data on layers

     

    And it works as expected till 2024 release. Now if i paste Transorm data, nothing happens. If i paste Corner pin data to a Solid, no keyframes are applied (even on Position,Scale and Rotation to add motion blur). The Corner Pin effect is applied, but i have keyframes only on the left up corner.

    Ah, by the way, if i export data to a text document, it doesn't works. It seems that data copyed from the Mocha Plugin are not compatible with this new version of AE.

    Ok, i really don't understand where this forum is going. READ THE TITLE!!!!

    Why are you talking about Mocha AE? 

    This is really sad...

    So, do you have in house a Mocha Pro version 10.0.4 and latest AE 2024? Have you tried to copy data to the clipboard? That's a common way to copy data and paste them WITHOUT OPEN THE PLUGIN! IT WORKED UNTILL 2023! 

    It's really frustrating...

     


    We are trying to help you and provide you with some workarounds or solutions. It would be great to obtain some kindness on your side. 

     

    I've checked with Mocha Pro 10.0.4 and it works as always. The only thing you MUST BE SURE is that you don't have activated the option to SEPARATE DIMENSIONS in the AE preferences (you can find it under the General category). With this option enabled you CANNOT paste transform data from Mocha Pro Standalone App
