Question

Ae CC 2018 RotoBrush is Lagging

I have recently updated to the latest edition of After Effects CC 2018, and with it came a very serious slow down on my RotoBrush tool.

When I initially click down to start painting with the brush, it freezes for a few seconds, then if I have moved my mouse at all, it will simply draw a straight to where it is when the computer catches up, rather than the path that I took.

This did not start happening until I updates, which makes me think it is not my computer.

Anybody have thoughts on why this might be happening?

I had the same problem. I just rolled back to the previous version of AE. Hopefully they'll have a fix for it soon.
