AE Dynamic Link in Premiere freezes and After Effects won't start

I've been having this issue for over a week. The Dynamic Link from AE in my Premiere timeline would appear as offline. I try to link the media again, and when I do, it just freezes the program. I try to open AE, and it won't even open, it'd freeze on the launch art screen. I uninstalled and installed all of the apps, installed past versions, and nothing has changed. I have a powerful computer, with all of my drivers updated, including the graphics cards. It has delayed my work.

Hi SAS-MIC,

Sorry for your issue.

Could you share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS) so that we know what we're working with. Are you able to launch After Effects? Please try the following suggestions:

  1. Disable your firewall and antivirus and see if that brings any change.
  2. Reset the preference of After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Let us know if any of the steps help.

Thanks,

Nishu

I already tried to disable the firewall/anti-virus and nothing. I did step 2 and nothing.

Thanks for getting back. Could you create a new user account on your computer and try to use the Dynamic Link in it?

Let us know the results.

Thanks,
Nishu

It didn't work. Sometimes AE works, sometimes it doesn't... well, most of the time it doesn't work. It keeps crashing, and I can't work around loopholes.
