AE wont save projects correctly in MacOS Ventura

New Here ,

Hi folks,

i´m working on a MacBook Pro 13" (M1) and MacStudio. I´m heavily using AE every day. After upgrading to Mac OS Ventura i noticed, that saving my comps to an external drive (Samsung T7) won´t work. I am not able to save anymore anything. Only saving on local drive will work, but even then ( not every time) AE will pop up an error.

I downgraded my MacStudio, and here everything works just fine.

Does someone else have this problem and has any solution for me?

You must check that AE can write to all of your external drives. In latest macOS iterations, Apple forced apps to ask user about permissions for accesing drives. You can check that in System Preferences (System Settings in macOS Ventura). Also, check what is the format of your external drive. If you are using NTFS format, you need to use a third party app to write into NTFS formatted drives.
