Hi everyone! I'm Faith.

It's my first time working with AE  cinema 4D, I get the error (****AEGP plugin Cinema 4D: CINERENDER - connection failure****)
Then
(****After Effects error: CINEMA 4D: Render Failed****) when i create new project. It's when i use Cinema 4D render engine inside of AE.

I've tried all this, still not working
* TCP Port change
* Purging cache
* formatted pc
* upgraded AE
* not sure about Firewall settings but added After Effects CC 2019 recently
* running After Effects as Admin

I don't know if I'm missing a plugin or something.
I don't have Cinema 4d installed.
I'm using Adobe After Effects CC 2019
Windows 10 1903

Please, Would love if anyone have insights that would help. I'll be grateful to you!!
God bless you all.

    I upgraded to the latest version of CC and it left the previous installation of After Effects installed. I uninstalled the old version of After Effects and the notification went away.

    Just reset to defaults (port 5030), delete the old version, and purge the cache and you should be good to go.

    Have you tried to run After Effects as Administrator? I'm sure you have a problem with the user's permissions.

    if changing the port did not work, you should try to add program exceptions for Cinema4DLit.exe, Cinema4DAE.exe or Cinema4D.exe in your Windows Firewall settings.

    What other ports are you tried other than 5030?. Are you using any antivirus/antimalware app that could block the ports?
