Would you try to do this step below?

1. You launch After Effects.

2. You create a new project.

3. You move to Window menu > Workspace > Default or one of something else.

 

One more suggestion is you update your graphic card driver.

It can't even open the file or project.🥺

Try running After Effects in Safe Mode. Here's how: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/how-to-troubleshoot-startup-issues-in-after-effects-using-the-startup-repair-options/td-p/13866327

If it works, reset the preferences at the next launch.
