AFTER EFFECT - Importer fichier IGS

Question

Bonjour,Un client m'a fourni un fichier IGS je souhaiterai incorporer ce modèle 3D dans une composition after effect.Il me semble que cela est impossible directement dans after effect.Est-ce possible par l'intermédiaire de Cinema4D Lite ou faut-il convertir ce fichier IGS dans un autre format pour pouvoir l'integrer via Cinema4D ou directement dans AE ?Merci pour éclaircissements CordialementAdrien

IGES files are CAD data. You need to use special converters, which usually cost money and even then getting good conversions is an art in itself. You can't do anything with the file in C4D Lite or AE. You can of course ask them to export the file to a generix 3D geometry format like DXF, OBJ or 3DS, but even then you will need to give the file a thorough cleanup treatment. CAD and 3D animation simply are completely different worlds and there are no easy shortcuts here.
