After effect keeps loading on the start-up screen

Hi,

First After Effects was starting up, everything worked till I wanted to make a new composition.

Every time I made a new composition, there popped up a window saying After effects does not respond.

I tought the problem was the driver (Nvidia quadro M1000M) so I did an update.

After the update it doesn't even start the program.

I have a Windows 10 pro

a Intel i7 and 16 GB Ram.

Can someone help me?
