Hi there! I'm still new in this community and I would like to have someone to assist me on this issue. The issue is whenever I'm adding my lower third composition into AME, there will be a white translucent layer on top of the lower third. Please refer to the video for the video of the exact issue.

Hi there,
Does it actually render out with that translucent layer as well?
FYI if you/re trying to export with an alpha channel so that you can layer this over other footage, you'll need ot choose a codc that can support an alpha channel; the MP4 you have set there will not work.

I have been using the lower third template for a quite some time and there is no such issue using AME and export as MP4. I guess there is some issue with the AME bridge from AE. (using Render Queue from AE, no issue)

But you're not rendering out to the same codec in each instance. After Effects limits you to certain codecs – "Lossless+Alpha" in patricular gives you an alpha channel. To get the same settinsg in AME you need to change the preset to one that can support alpha like ProRes4444. I don't understand why you're rendering to MP4?

Maybe try importing your output back into After Effects and see if it looks better there. Sometimes. Rendering on system players don't look great.

The first thing you should try is rendering with the Render Queue and pick the Lossless with Alpha preset. If that works you are done. If you still have problems then you need to study up on video standards and formats and set up a new preset for lossless with Alpha. MP4 files do not support RGBA (red, green, blue, and alpha) video so they are useless for creating lower thirds.
If you are combining the lower thirds in Premiere Pro then study up on Extended Graphics and create a proper MOGRT for your project. You'll save a bunch of time.
If you need more help, let us know exactly what part of a project you are having problems with, describe your workflow in detail, and post screenshots that show the modified properties of the problem layers. Press "uu" to reveal modified properties and embed the screenshots using the Toolbar above, or drag the file directly to the reply field. Do Not use the Drag & Drop here or browse area. It's buggy, makes the images hard to see, and is a pain for us to use.

Thank you for the response. I have actually used this lower third template since 2019 without any issue, until recently when I am trying to create a new project based on the same template then this issue occured. Maybe I will try to look into the AME profile/setting because if I render using the Render Queue, there is no issue (only it would take up extra space upon rendering). What else that I need to look into?

I tried the template you attached. I exported both a ProRes 4444+alpha and an mp4; both appeared as I expected them to. Neither one had that ghostly white bit over the box. Are you sure you didn't accidentally add a solid in AE?

I have re-installed my Windows (fresh installation) and redownload latest AE and AME but the ghostly white box still appear. What did I miss here? 😞

Thanks for taking your time to help me. No. There is no another solid in my AE. I have tried it on my collegue laptop earlier and there is no issue. I might have to perform fresh installation of Creative Clouds, AE & AME to see if the problem persists.
