After Effects 2020 stuck on splash screen

Question

I've never had this problem until now. I've tried resetting my preferences, signing out off my Creative Cloud account, restarting my Mac, uninstalling the application--practically everything repeatedly. I've also noticed that it stays on "Initializing Mediacore" for a long time occasionally, but I checked it on Finder and nothing seems to be wrong. I tried waiting one time but after like 5 minutes the entire program crashed.

I have a 13" Macbook Pro with 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 and 8 GB. Please let me know how I may fix this problem, I really need it to work.

Hi saberluv, Sorry for your issue.What's the exact version of After Effects you're using? Have you tried resetting the preferences? If it doesn't help, try doing a clean installation of all the Adobe apps using the Adobe Cleaner tool.Your computer is not meeting the minimum system requirements which could cause this issue but you can definitely try the clean installation.Let us know how it goes.
