Hello AE Community,
I have a weird issue that came up today. I cannot get ANY After Effects project to open in ANY of the 2023 After Effects versions. Whenever I try to open a project, it just hangs on a blank Open Project Window (screenshot attached below). Here is what I have tried so far, but didn't work:
-Open project up from another drive
-Open an autosaved version
-Start a new project, and import an existing project
-Reset After Effects settings to default
-Uninstall and reinstall After Effects without migrating any settings (fresh start)
Again, none of these worked. Everything would just lock up After Effects entirely. The only way out was to "End Task" in the Task Manager. Also (not sure if this is related), My mogrts keep going offline in Premiere Pro, which originated in After Effects. Any additional thoughts on what I can try?
Computer Information:
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version: 21H2
OS build 22000.1574
Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900 @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz
RAM: 128 GB (128 GB usable)
Thank you in advanced!

Have you also updated the graphic card driver to the latest?

Thank you for your answer. I'm not sure if the graphic card driver is on the latest, but I ended up figuring it out with Adobe Support. Something in the dynamic link between Premiere Pro and After Effects became corrupt. Once I opened up BOTH the Premiere Pro and After Effects projects that were linked, the dynamic link reset itself.

Hey Brandon,
Welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Please try resetting your preferences and purging your memory and disk cache (Edit > Purge > All Memory and Disk Cache). If that doesn't work, let us know if you have any third-party plugins installed. If so, could you temporarily try moving them to another location and check if that helps?
Thanks,
Ishan

Something similar here, I deleted everything, reinstalled everything, and the only thing that worked for me was to move all the files that were inside the project (which could cause problems, in my case an imported premiere sequence). Then the project let me open it and I relinked everything except the sequence that was giving me problems.
