After Effects 23.5.0 invert alpha not working

Not sure how long it hasn't worked - don't use it that much.

In interpret footage settings the Invert Alpha checkbox is not doing anything 😞

I'm not reproducing this in AE 23.5, a premul .PSD file imported into a Comp (on Mac).

Can you provide a sample footage file, the exact steps you are taking to cause the issue to appear, and your system details?
