After Effects 24.4 Keep crashing when i tried to open my project

I'm starting to get a bit worried (After Affect seems to be corrupting my files ?)

I have two old projects that I converted for AE2024. I did some cleaning and optimization. Then I did some assembly, and everything was fine. The project was running smoothly.

I d'ont know if it's linked, but I've had all these crashes since I did a complete reinstallation of Windows.

The first project started to crash, when I tried to open it.

I quickly identified that the problem came from one Typeface. (Oddly enough, it worked well before) But even when I manage to open it, the project is unstable and crashes for no reason from time to time.

The second project worked really well, I did some files and layers organisation, and since its last saving, it's impossible to open it. It keep crashing like the first one.

I can't figure out where the problem is coming from and it's driving me crazy. Every time I save a project, it starts to crash afterwards and I can no longer open it.

Some of my specs :

• Model : MSI GL759SE (Laptop)
• Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
• RAM : 64 Go
• Graphic Cards : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 & Intel® UHD Graphics 630
• After Effect 24.4

What i've tried so far :

• Restart Computer/AE = No change, still crash
• Restart AE in Safe Mode = Crash
• Open Project without the linked components = Sometimes work, sometimes it crash
• Disable Fonts
• Import project in a new project Files = Sometimes work, sometimes it crash
• I've no plugins installed

I really don't know what to do, if someone have any clues what can be causing the problem and can help me, it would be appreciated.

I've also, deleted all of my Preferences, and try to rename the AE folder in %Appdata% in OLD_AfterEffects to make a clean Startup. Nothing changed. Still crash.

I'm not going to jump to the conclusion too fast , but I may have solved the problem.

At least this morning it finally works.

I uninstalled all the fonts from my computer, and restarted the projects. Surprisingly it worked !

Then I reinstalled the fonts used in these projects which caused AE to crash, and TADA, AE don't crash, and finally load perfectly !

I probably had one in my Font in my library that was corrupt, and that made AE ​​unstable.

If it ever crash again, I'll let you know.
