Hi AE community! I have a peculiar problem, I hope that someone can help me. I have some very old AE projects that were created with AE 6.5 for Windows. Now I work with Mac and my latest version of AE does not open those projects. I have talked to Adobe's support and they told me that AE 6.5 is no longer available. Is there any way to open those projects?

Lo que te recomiendo es que busques una version de CS6 lo abras alli con lo que se crear un proeycto que ta podras abrir en las versiones actuales.

6.5 projects will open in any version up to AE CC 2014 and from there you can then open the converted projects in newer versions. You have to find someone who has one of those old versions like someone who still is using CS 6 because they refuse all that subscription nonsense. Just keep in mind that one way or the other you are likely going to lose at least soem data and things need to be fixed. If the projects are simple enough, rebuilding them from scratch may be more efficient, especialyl if you plan to up-rez them, anyway or something like that. Tweaking stuff from an old NTSC comp to a 4k comp can take just as much time as simply creating it fresh.
