After Effects and ExtendScript Toolkit (ESTK)

Hi there.

I've installed the ExtendScript Toolkit (ESTK) but when I am in After effects and I go to Scripts > Open Script editor it gives an alert pop up message to go to the website and install it.

How can I solve this ?

PS: when I open it externally, it works connected to it.

Thanks

Of course, but I've seen in many videotutorials that they open it by the AE menu... but never mind

After installing the ESTC you should be able to open it from the File>Scripts menu. If you can't, reboot your system.

I don't see how that helps my problems, it only says to open it separately ...

I would like to open it within after effects...

Have you used this tool before? It is a separate app that will run concurrently with AE and allow you to test your scripts in AE.
