For a few days now I’ve been experiencing annoying problems with files. mov (with and without alpha channel), specifically from about Monday Premiere Pro practically no longer read the animations exported by After Effects in format . mov, installing the beta version I had found a solution momentania since in that works, today I’m noticing a similar problem in After Effects, that is, it has problems loading files . mov just exported from After Effects same.... I’m installing the Beta version again and hope to fix it. But the question is, why??? Other programs such as Davinci Resolve can easily read . mov with alpha channel. If there are substantial changes in After Effects it would be nice to have a communication explaining in what format we now have to export the animations to be read in the apps of the suite; for example there is the possibility to expose the png sequences that work, but it is an impractical solution.

Hi dpassaggio,
Thanks for writing in.
I just tested with the latest version of After Effects and Premiere Pro and I don't see the issue on my end. Do you mind letting us know the version of Ae and PR you're using? Do you get any error when you try to import the file? Feel free to share a screenshot. Also, could you share one of the sample files that you're not able to import to test at our end?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Nishu

Hi Nishu, for starters thanks for the answer;
I just tried again with the latest standard version of premiere is the problem subsists ( below I insert screenshots) while fortunately the problem does not arise in the beta (fortunately).
To test I also tried going back with the premiere versions from 23.6 but also in the even older 23.0, the files that in those versions worked now no longer work. In any case I attach you a new file (which is that of the screenshot) where I have the same problem in the last relase.

I tested the file at my end and it works perfectly in the latest version of Premiere Pro and After Effects. Are you using any third-party plug-ins? Can you try disabling them? If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences. Refer to this video: https://youtu.be/jdpG79no3oQ
Let us know the outcome.
Thanks,
Nishu
