What scripts? Are you sure they're scripts and not plug-ins? It's surprising the install copied all your third scripts to the correct new folder as AE does not do that.  At least it's never done it for me.  I have to manually copy everything from BOTH the plugins folder, the script UI folder and sometimes the common folder.  Also sometimes things need to be re-installed or updated to function with new version.

Apart from that nobody is going to be able to tell you anything without details.

It's because of help requests like this that whenever I call for technical support

I am forced to answer a series of inane questions like:

Technical support rep:   Is it plugged in?

    Me: Yes

Technical support rep: Is the power on?

    Me: Yes

Technical support rep: Do you have electricity?

    Me: Yes.

Technical support rep: Are you sure?

    Me: I'm not an idiot.

Technical support rep: Yes sir, but I have no way of knowing that.

So.  To be completely blunt.    We have no way of knowing you're not an idiot.  When you say you've done everything right we have no reason to believe you.  If you want help you have to provide details.

I haven't checked yet but I would assume that the custom scripts you installed in the previous version would not be copied to the new folder by the installer.

Personally, I store all my scripts in a Dropbox folder and put an alias in the application folder so they are always available, even if I am freelancing on somebody else's machine.

BTW I have put in a feature request that all of the scripts and custom animation presets be installed in the Creative Cloud files folder that comes with CC. This would save a ton of headaches and make perfect sense. If you feel the scripts and animation presets and even essential graphics file structure should be revamped make your wishes known.
