after effects closing by itself

Hi, I'm having a problem with After Effects.
When I open the program and click on my project, it simply closes. How can I fix this?

I started safe mode and activated the third-party plugin, and it showed some disabled plugins, I managed to enter the project but plugins are missing


Please correct me if I am wrong. You launched After Effects in Safe Mode and disabled the third-party plugin. Then, you were able to open your project, but some plug-ins were missing. If that is what is happening, it indicates that one or more of your plug-ins is causing the crash. You can enable your plug-ins one by one to find out which one.

Are you using the latest version of After Effects?

Could you enable the logging from the help menu? You will need to restart the app after you do that. Then next time you hit the issue, relaunch AE and go to the help menu to reveal the logging file. Once you have the file, please share it with us so we can look into it further. 

Also, if this only happens with a specific project, could you please share the project with us?

    Sorry to hear about the issue, Eager_Bee4709.

    Are there any error messages or crash reports? What happens if you do not open your existing project and instead create a new one? If creating a new project is possible, try importing your current project into it. If it crashes while creating the new project as well, try running After Effects in Safe Mode.

    No error message appears, the program only closes without opening an existing project. I managed to create a new project, I imported the previous project into it, but the program still closes.

    You can try running After Effects in Safe Mode and see if that helps. If it doesn't, it could be a project-specific issue. If you can share the project, we can test it on our end. Feel free to share via DM if you prefer not to share publicly.
