After effects composition window not working and video won't play and crashes

Question

Adobe After Effects was working perfectly for a few months. A couple weeks ago, it became super buggy. I have a Lenovo PC.

1. Whenever I try to quit, it stops responding and I have to force shut down

2. The composition window is frozen on the first screen, so I can add layers, etc. but can't see any of them in the window

3. When I try to play the video, the playhead doesn't move.

I've showed this to IT people already, reinstalled and updated my computer several times, even installed an older version. Nothing is working. Please help!

Also @adobe I've tried to get through to your support line for two and a half hours. Please make it easier to contact support team reps.

We're investigating this issue. I'd appreciate if you could you share the following details:

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)?
What's the exact version of Afte Effects you're using: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/faq-how-to-find-the-exact-version-of-after-effects-you-re-using/td-p/9972137
Does it happen with existing projects or with new projects as well?
