After Effects crashing every time I run a script that requires network access for license auth

When using AE 22.0.1 on macOS Monterey, the app hangs and crashes every time I try opening a *.jsxbin that requires network access for licence authentication (I have network access enabled for scripts in my preferences). Scripts that were free, or don't require any licence don't seem to have any issues. What could be the problem here?

If these are scripts from aescripts, does it work if you hold down the Option and Shift keys while launching the script?

I'd recommend contacting support on the site you got them from.

Are these installed in the ScriptUI Panels folder and launched from the Window menu? Does it make any difference if you install it directly in the Scripts folder and run it from the File > Scripts menu? Are you on an Intel Mac or an M1 Mac?
