When I tried to import an animation I made in After Effects into Premiere Pro, it has a black background instead of transparent. How do I fix this? Is it a setting issue? Or maybe a glitch? The first project I did on After Effects I can remember having to manually puta background or else it would be transparent. I don't know why it didn't do the same this time.

The issue would be related to the alpha channel. When you render out, you check this option.

Hi, I think it may be worthwhile for you to specify that he wants to be using "RGB + Alpha" if he wants the output to have a transparant background in Premiere. As choosing either "Alpha" or "RGB" separately results in a black background

There is a preset for High Quality with Alpha in the Output Module. Until you become an expert in video formats and compression, just pick that preset, and you will have a video with a transparent background.
It also looks like you set the Composition background color to white. That did not generate any pixels, and most codecs will render transparency as black. It is not a good idea to change the comp Background color. Just leave it black. Use the Transparency grid to check for transparency.
One more thing. When you share a screenshot, just drag it to the reply field and please don't use the Drag & drop here area. It's buggy and hard for forum users to use. You can even copy and paste or use the Toolbar to embed images.
