After Effects is unable to detect the transparent background

After effects is unable to detect the transparent background of imported file. I have rendered my Cinema 4d file in Tid as well as Open Exr extension but in both cases After Effects is unable to change the background. i have seen a lot of tutorials in which when they brought any solid or composition below the rendered layer, it automatically applies it as its background but in my case background remains the same black. Any solution to it.

P.S: I have also turn the Toggle Transparent Grid but the result remains unchanged.

P.S: I have also turned on the alpha channel before rendering and it rendered in alpha as well.

The ugly truth likely is that you did not even render an Alpha channel in C4D. These options need to explicitly be enabled for the respective formats. Similalrly, if you use e.g. Multipass-Rendering and object buffers with tags, Alpha channels cann appear as custom channels and may need to be enabled e.g. using the EXtractoR effect.

Samples? Screenshots? Properties of the file by clicking on it in the Project Panel and checking the info at the top?

You may need to use the Alpha Only render as a track matte. Without workflow details, it's pretty hard figuring out your workflow. We also need your C4D workflow and settings. Something has probably been missed.
