after effects low performance and low memory warning

I don't understand, I have 32 GB of RAM and my after effects keep showing low RAM, even though I'm not using 20 GB and the preview doesn't load, it keeps loading in a loop for a few seconds, apart from the crashes I don't know if I should use the processor or the gpu in the project settings

Could you share a screenshot of the error/warning about the low memory? Do you experience this with a particular project, or it's random? Are there any third-party plug-ins installed? Also, do you mind sharing a screenshot of the Windows Task Manager when After Effects shows the low memory warning?

Hi Ana,

 

Could you share some details about your project? In After Effects, render time increases quickly with each effect you add. Let us know the details of the media (frame rate, format/codec) effects used. Also, are there any third-party plug-ins installed?
