AFTER EFFECTS NULL OBJECT

Hi i am a beginner  in AE , i need a help regarding null object when i parent it to a clip it doesn't work it becomes blank

You have assigned the Null as a track matte, not parented it, which of course makes no sense. Make sure to actually toggle the correct columns with the three leftmost icons at the bottom of the timeline panel.
