Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I'm trying to use the rotation tool in one of my layers. In every tutorial video they have information displayed in orange and they can just change the value by clicking on it.  When I use after effects CC I can't find any way of displaying that information in orange. How do I do this? Thank you

There are two issues here: one is a sad episode in after effects history and the other is just a switch that needs to be turned on

1. Blue is the new Orange! (actually it's more of a Yellow) - ever since After Effects CC2014, the interface changed to blue. I have grown used to it...

2. you need to add a switches column. 2 ways of doing that:

one is this

the other is this:

Thank you soooo much. I knew it was something simple and that I just had not used after effects enough lately to remember :)!

Your sample screenshot shows an expression for rotation. Either deleted or disable it. If you don't know how to do that go to the  search help field at the top right corner of aftereffects and type in remove expression. Then spend a little time learning how the application works. This is one software program you just cannot hope around inside and figure out how to do anything.

Oh yeah... he was talking about the orange of the expression. I thought it was red... guess I wanted to rant about the yellow to blue interface.. oh well... Op solved his problem that's what matters just another day at the plabt! am I saying this right, Rick?
