After Effects screen turns black after I add Magic Bullet Looks

I'm an editor and after clearing my disk cache in ae, I've noticed that whenever I add MBL to an adjustment layer or a composition, the whole screen turns black. I've tried clearing my temp folder and restarting my pc but nothing changes. It's never happened before and I can't seem to find a way to fix the problem. (Caps Lock isn't on)

The latest version of MBL works just fine for me. I'm on a MacBook Pro M2 Max with a bunch of RAM.

If updating the plugin using the Maxon installer app does not fix the problem, you probably have some GPU problems. I would contact Maxon support directly. They are probably better equipped to diagnose your problem if it is system compatibility issue.
