After effects search bar bug?

After a while after typing in the search bar nothing will come up and then all the panels will glitch out on me?

as Nishu said, you should give us more info about your AE version, OS, PC specs, and screenshot...

What's the exact version of After Effects you're using? Is there anything that triggers it? Also, could you share a screenshot or screen recording that shows the problem?
