After Effects selected keyframes selection not going to graph editor

Ususally when i select few keyframes and go to graph editor the selection is there and i can just tweak the handels, but randomly it stopped working. I select the keyframes in timeline and i've to select them again in graph editor.

The cropped screenshot is not much help. What property are you trying to adjust? Are you trying to use the selection tool (v) or the pen tool (g) plus the Alt/Option and Crtl/Cmnd options to edit the graph? Is there an expressioin applied to the property.

The graph editor looks to be set to view the Speed Graph. For some properties the Value Graph is a better choice. We need to know a lot more about your workflow.

Am using Selection tool (v) and this is happening with various properties like Position,scale, rotation, trim paths.

when i select the keyframes and hit the graph editor button the keyframes are deselected, i've to select them again.

It's not end of world but earlier it was much more comfortable and time saving.

and there are some expression applied to other layers(bounce, wiggle) and that layer is not having this problem.
