After Effects to Premiere Time Remapping Problem

Hey, I'm new to animating so doing things a bit wonky and probably wrong but I've been trying to add animation over the top of a video clip. To do this I've been animating in After Effects and then importing the compositions into the Premiere project. This has appeared to work fine but whenever I export the project I'm getting very frustrating and inconsistent results.

Specifically I have a mouth composition for the character in After Effects that I have time remapping on to lip sync. It usually looks perfect when I put it back in Premiere but after exporting I find it doesn't even remotely resemble the keyframe the layer is supposed to be held on in certain places. When I drag the playhead back and forth in Premiere I actually see the correct keyframe being previewed but it disappears once I stop scrubbing and let it sit on the frame.

This is happening for multiple compositions but only rarely in each one and can't for the life of me work out what the issue is or find anyone with a similar issue online. It looks perfect in AE, perfect in Premiere when I meticulously reimport it and check every frame. But after exporting media it just goes a bit nuts.

Any ideas? Let me know if there's anything I can show to help.

Here are some images below of my issue:

You may want to check the composition settings in AE and the sequence settings in Premiere to make sure that they have the same frame rate.

Yeah they're all the same frame rate in both AE and Premiere.

Have you considered exporting/rendering from AE, then importing int PP?
