After Effects Triggers SteamVR

This will sound weird but for some reason whenever I open After Effect, SteamVR also loads.  I don't have any idea why.  It happens whether I have SteamVR installed or not.  This also happens when Steam is closed.

 

I sent similar message directly to Valve.

Check your Preferences/Video Preview section and make sure it didn't get added. The GoPro and OSMO apps tend to throw things in there that open unwanted apps.

    Seems to be the answer. I unchecked the one that was active, "Adobe Immersive Environment".
