Since I have been using After Effects for motion graphics, I have used it on several machines like MacBook and Windows. Currently,1 I am using MSI's Katana GF66 12UE laptop equipped with a 12th Gen. Intel i7 processor, 16 GB DDR4-3200 memory, and with Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 6GB GDDR 6 graphic card. After-effect lags only the UI and nothing else. I can see the preview easily and the rendering is also good. Only the User Interface lags even if  I choose to save the file.

I request the Adobe Creative Cloud community to figure it out.

Hi Disha,

Welcome to the community.

Does it lag when you try to use the menu? If so, you must be hitting a bug. Try closing the Character panel.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hello Nishu,

Thank you for your reply. You were right about the character panel, now I am using the properties panel to change fonts and its adjustments and it works fine.

Thanks again 🙂
