After Effects warning: logged one error - "error: internal verification failure, sorry! {Node received more checkout requests than expected}"

I have had this error for 3 days and have done everything i can to try and fix it. I have done the following:
1. Restarted my Laptop
2. Re-installed ALL my plugins
3. Rendering in different formats (mp4, .mov, avi)
4. Rendering via Media Encoder
5. Upgrading to Adobe After Effects 2017
After doing all these changes, it always stops mid-way through the render and comes up with the error 'After Effects warning: logged one error - "error: internal verification failure, sorry! {Node received more checkout requests than expected}"'.
I really need to render a project of mine and have tried doing it for the past 3 days and i have always gotten this error.
Please HELP!

    Hello,

I recently started getting this error after getting a new 8gig 2666 ram so maybe it's ram related, so weird.

Without knowing anything about the specific structure of your comp nobody can tell you much. Checkout errors typically point to cyclic references that cause invalid loops, e.g. layers referenced in effects pop-ups where the layer itself is generated/ used with some otehr effect or in a pre-comp. You have to be very, very specific down to the T to unriddle this.

It stops at the same point in time when you render? What layer or effect starts up at that time?
